Being an aunt is probably one of the coolest things that I've been able to experience, and I'm proud to say I am one, times 4!  Seeing my big brothers become Dads is an amazing thing...and I'm so glad that I'm able to share in their happiness. I'm so excited to introduce my new nephew AND niece-born 12 days apart!

Another year of photographing this beautiful family. Its amazing looking back at the years of photos I've done of these kids and seeing how they have changed from children, to young adults. Each year gets easier as they listen more, and care a bit more about how they look. They go from having round chubby faces to slim, more mature outlines. It all happens so quickly and I'm glad I was around to capture these moments in time!

Thank Heaven for Little Girls

I recently got to photograph Molly, the daughter of a very good friend of mine. I once read somewhere that when people hear the name "Molly" they think of a "kind and down to earth person." I have a feeling this little one is going to be just like that-she was totally calm, cool, and collected through her entire shoot! She even gave me little smiles just to humor me. Not to mention her parents are very kind and down to earth so everyone wins! :)

Val is one of my oldest friends and it was my privilege to photograph her during such a special time in her life. Not only that, but now I get to photograph her beautiful little boy, Jack! I feel very, very lucky!

I am certainly lucky to be able to work with such amazing women all the time. Whether its the Mom's of the little ones I photograph, Mom's to be, or ladies just wanting me to document a moment in time for them, I get to work with some pretty cool females!

Long Time No See!

I have no excuses for my lack of posting over the past (ah hem) year or so. Thank you to all of you that check this blog and have been harassing me to update. This is for you! :)
I've put together a bunch of pictures from various shoots and weddings that have been keeping me busy over the last year. I'm going to post them in three posts over the next few days because there are quite a few.

I went over my brothers house this evening to snap some family photos for something he is working on. Its only been a few weeks since I last saw Katelyn last, but since then she has more hair, bigger teeth, and is starting to take steps. Collin, on the other hand, is growing older too. He's going to be 13, and is almost taller then me. I have totally turned into that aunt that says "I remember when you...." and then completing the sentence with an embarrassing story. Poor kid.
It has been so fun being such a part of his life and I'm looking forward to watching Katelyn grow up too. I'm so grateful to be able to document their lives as much as I have. I love them so much! <3
